Volunteers are our Heart.
It takes a village to raise a child. And it takes Volunteers to run a PTA. We encourage all PTA members to volunteer, but it is by no means required or expected. We have multiple volunteer opportunities, with our most popular options being Field Day and Book Fair.
To get involved follow these three steps:
STEP 1: Complete our Volunteer Interest Form here.
STEP 2: Ensure clearances are up to date and on file with the secretary at Margaret Ross Elementary. You cannot be in the building without being a PTA member and having clearances. See clearances below.
STEP 3: Wait for the Committee Chair to contact you. This could be right away or a few months down the road as the project is getting up and running. Ready to dive in? Email us on the Contact Us page to get moving faster.
Clearances
Clearances are required by the State of Pennsylvania to be on file at the school prior to being in the school building.
The FOUR items below need to be returned to the secretary at Maragret Ross Elementary. A copy of your driver's license will also need to be scanned for entry into the building. You will be given a badge to wear while you are in the building. We ask that you please wear Vikings/Margaret Ross Elementary shirt so it is easy for students and staff to welcome you with open arms.
